The story of shaRINGS begins with a puzzle.

When we married on September 5, 1998, we chose puzzle-ring wedding bands that fit our preference for contemporary design. Although unique and stylish, the puzzle-ring bands were not practical, falling apart for the first time during our honeymoon--and, as a result of our active lifestyle, regularly continuing to do so. Ultimately, we stopped wearing our wedding bands and felt a void.

The following spring, as we were playing golf, the idea of wearing matching casual bands came to us. We pictured these bands as being a nice, neutral style--a suitable balance between feminine and masculine--so we'd both feel comfortable wearing them. Soon afterwards, we found our first set of rings.

As the summer passed by, we talked about updating the bands since the original set was inexpensive and becoming worn. This was the moment the idea for the shaRINGS case was born. It would serve as the home of our first set of casual rings and a residence for future rings.

Now, on each wedding anniversary, we celebrate with new shaRINGS. Prior to the date, one of us (we trade off each year) chooses a pool of new ring options and, together, we decide upon the next year's band. It's become the perfect anniversary gift because we symbolically renew our love while remembering another wonderful year together.

Displaying the previous year's rings in the shaRINGS case upon their "retirement" gives us a cherished keepsake of the years and memories that have defined our relationship. Our shaRINGS case hangs in our family room and is a daily reminder of our time together. We hope other couples will find our recommended shaRINGS casual bands and sophisticated shaRINGS case a distinctive way to commemorate their love and life together.
